The alpha hydroxyacids and polyhydroxy acids (AHAs/PHAs) are know to provide significant cosmetic benefits to photoaged and hyperkeratotic skin. Due to its PHA structure, lactobionic acid can provide additional benefits while being gentle to skin. lactobionic acid has the unique ability to form a film on skin providing unprecedented skin silkiness and softness. The latest skin care technology to emerge from Neostrata utilizes lactobionic acid, a new polyhydroxy "bionic" acid. Lactobionic acid is derived from naturally occurring lactose (milk sugar), and is classified as a complex PHA (polyhydroxy AHA). Lactobionic acid is safe and non-irritating, and provides AHA anti-aging and cell turnover benefits to skin. Its primary use to date has been in medical applications, for example as an ingredient in preservation solutions for human transplantation. Products such as the bionic lotions, bionic face serum and creams contain lactobionic acids. ACNE CARE (ACNE PRONE/OILY SKIN) DAILY REGIMEN
Directions for usage:
1. Clean the skin thoroughly with a gentle cleanser (Antibacterial Facial Cleanser).
2. Clean the skin thoroughly with Oily Skin Solution-AHA 8 or the Oil Control Gel-AHA/PHA to
remove excess oils, fats, and other lipids present on acne prone skin.
3. Apply a thin layer Acne Spot Treatment gel to infected areas or Acne Treatment all over the face.
4. Apply an oil free sunscreen (Oil Free Lotion SPF 15).
DAILY REGIMEN
AM ROUTINE:

Gently cleanses, soothes, and lubricates the skin and prepares it for moisturization and/or exfoliation, e.g. FACIAL CLEANSER - PHA 4.

Apply a photoaging/moisturization product of choice to improve visible signs of aging, uneven skin tone, relieve dry skin or improve overall texture.

| 4. Sun Block- |
Apply daily as needed, e.g. Daily Protection Sunscreen - SPF 29.

Gently cleanses, soothes, and lubricates the skin and prepares it for moisturization and/or exfoliation.
